Mine Ventilation Society of Ghana Advancing safe, sustainable, and efficient underground environments through collaboration, research, and innovation.
The Mine Ventilation Society of Ghana promotes safe and sustainable mining through excellence in ventilation practices. We unite professionals, foster innovation, and support the advancement of health and safety standards in Ghana’s mining industry.
Who We Are
The Ghana mine ventilation Society was founded in 2024 when the Chief Inspector of mines and minerals commission brought a team of ventilation professionals together to have a discussion, and during that convention, it necessitated a formation of an association like this. Our motto is conserving air.
Membership
Membership of the Society will be open to all Mine Ventilation and Industrial Hygiene professionals, as well as other service industry professionals who wish to join.
Education
Mine Ventilation Society of Ghana (MVSG) to collaborate with UMAT to offer Ventilation Engineering courses.
Code of Conduct
The society has outlined disciplinary procedures to be used in adjudication of issues that may require such action to be taken to safeguard the integrity of the society.
